Falling into Empty Waters

:::Falling Into Empty Waters:::
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

I slip off a mountaintop;
And plummet to a rushing death.
I wait to see the light
I don’t scream.
I am not afraid of death;
too much.
I wait until suddenly
my face hits water.
My body is sucked under
I can breath.
I watch fish swim by
I am still falling slowly.
Sharks and whales pay no attention to me
I am in a nice place.
When every thing goes dark
only one thing is visible.
A little light moving quickly.
Finally my feet land on the bottom of this empty water.
A hand appears in front of me.
I look at the face
To my surprise
My brother stands there.
I go to take his hand
When a rush of water pushes me.
I try to swim for his outstretched hand.
I am nothing to the water.
I am tossed and turned.
Then I am falling out of the sky.
I look down
There is a face I never got to see.
My sister is skipping to a cliffs edge
and I am next to her?
But I am up here
not down there.
I hit myself as I fall.
Now we are one
Falling again.
I hit the yucky water
dropping deeper and deeper still.
I can’t breath this time.
I hit the bottom of these empty waters.
I fall to my knees gasping for air.
My brother stands in front of me
His hand outstretched.
I take it
My breathing starts up again.
I look around
Not a sound.
I am alone again;
lying in my bed.
Crying.
How I got in my bed I do not know,
all I do know
Is that words are floating to my mind.
In what I imagine my brothers voice would be.
“I love you brother.”
:::Streaming Waters:::
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

Last time I saw this
I was no more than two.
I stand here now
watching it move.
Someone stands down at the edge
with long hair
and a shadow of an angel.
I look away
then look back;
He is gone.
I wait to see
if he comes back
But he never does
and never will.
The water moves slower now;
a new face lurks around.
A young girl
No more than five.
I watch her play at the waterside.
The man is back again.
He is playing alongside her
His face is alight.
The girl runs into the water
And never comes back up.
The man looks at me;
I at him.
It is my brother I see.
He smiles and follows our sister.
Never coming back.
His last words before he left
was a simple little sentence.
“We will wait for you at heavens gates.”
I watch the river move,
with tears in my eyes.
My brother
My sister.
Both are gone, at birth.
I watch the river
All was well
But then I ran
And jumped in too
I started to drowned
But my brother saved me.
He said something
That stuck with me ever since.
“Your time isn’t up until it is up.”
I wrote this poem for my brother and sister, who died at birth.
If they had lived I would be a middle child.
I miss them, but up in heaven they are safe from humans sin.

:::Your Regret:::
::::::::::::::::::::::::

My hand is outstretched
You just stand there.
His hand is outstretched.
You still just stand there.
Destiny is calling
But you won’t answer.
His face and mine are straight
Yours is confused.
I look at your eyes
And see tears.
He looks at your eyes
And sees you as meat.
Your face looks at him
His muscles and his nice smooth hair.
While I am just a man
That has not found himself.
You make to move
But still stand.
Light shines behind me
Fire behind him.
Horns start to grow
From atop his head.
Wings flutter behind my back.
Your stare at him
But then stare at me.
You then take my hand.
The man that stood with flames
Now burns in them.
My Wings go back into my body.
And now I have found my place

As have you.

:::Come Home:::
:::::::::::::::::::::::::

A heavy rhyme
With a steady beat.
The heart burns
For this one word.
The sound of grace
The sound of love.
Beat slowly
But stay seated.
The heart is a big maze
Hard to control.
Every little thing enters its doors
Evil, good, light, hope.
The heart burns for a single word
But our world fades.
Flame bursts inside
A steady beat starts to die.
The heart burns
And no one answers.
Darkness all around
Till you turn to look.
You see a light
It is God you see.
Your heart stops.
The words have been spoken
And your heart is at rest.
Those words are simply
“Come home.”

:::A hearts chambers:::
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

A heart has many chambers
And only a fool would hide away from them.
Only a fool would run from these wonderful chambers.
One holds your love
For those you hold close as a dove.
One has many secrets that we hold
But it never lets them get old.
It nags at us with everything it’s got
Until it becomes too hot.
One chamber to the left is a good one
It allows you to speak in just the right tone.
Remember this as though it was I
Who showed you this with your own eye.
But yet it is not true
You already knew.
About these chambers light
Now rest your head and say goodnight.
The hearts chambers
Oh what a sight.
The best one is the one you see at night.
It opens up
And you go through.
Dreams are hidden here
Now listen again you need to hear.
About the heart, And its many chambers
